Starfield Companions

Companions have played important roles in past Bethesda games, and it looks as though Starfield will be no different. Let’s take a look at all of the Starfield Companions players will be able to meet in game.

The first new intellectual property developed by Bethesda Game Studios in 25 years, Starfield is a hotly anticipated AAA single player, action role playing game which takes place across the vastness of space. This space exploration game will have many of the typical Bethesda game hallmarks – a robust main story and side quests, elaborate character creation, and an extraordinary amount of exploration.

Starfield Companions

In trailers and gameplay reveals Bethesda has hinted at the player’s ability to possibly have more than one starship – and even if having only one, needing a crew to help work and fly your transport. In addition, it has also been said that crew members can be stationed at your outposts on other planets and moons in order to oversee their resource production and maintenance. This could mean that Starfield will have a lot of potential companions for the player character to meet and befriend. So far, specific information has only been revealed about one in particular:

Vasco is a bi-pedal expeditionary robot owned by the Constellation faction you meet with early in the game. As described by Bethesda, he is a utilitarian, heavy-industrial machine well-suited to the rigors of space travel. Vasco’s design is based on a Type-A bipedal chassis capable of traversing rough terrain, along with all the survival gear, and payload capacity needed for extended overland journeys. His primary role is peaceful, but he does have some defensive capabilities should the need arise.
